The CXO Flying Club began operations the first week of June 2017 at the Conroe, Texas airport (KCXO) with the specific goal of facilitating camaraderie and fellowship amongst active professional pilots while providing access to high quality general aviation aircraft at reasonable prices.
The club initially started operations with a 1978 C172N featuring a 180 hp engine upgrade, 959 lb useful load and new paint/interior/avionics. On Oct. 1, 2017 the club brought on line a high performance 1985 C182R featuring a newly overhauled and upgraded 280 hp engine, 3 bladed prop, new interior and advanced avionics. In March of 2019 we added a beautiful 1969 PA-28 Cherokee 140 to our fleet featuring a new interior, avionics upgrades and is our first aircraft in which flight instruction will be allowed. ALL aircraft are equipped with mounted iPad's running ForeFlight for charting, weather, traffic, back-up navigation and attitude information when interfaced with the Stratus 2S in the 172 & Cherokee and the Garmin GTX 345 in the 182.
